Hey folks. I've been puzzling over the problem of what to do with the problem of combat--specifically, keeping clear where the party and NPCs are during more complex fights. I stumbled by accident on OpenRPG. www.rpgobjects.com/index.php?c=orpg&m=getorpgIt's open source and free. I am considering using it; that means I would require your agreement, since it's basically like MSN Messenger with a real-time map, and you'd each have to install it on your PCs/Macs to fully participate. Thus, I'd like your input and whether you'd be amenable to experimenting with the software and if you've used it in the past. I've received good reviews about it and read more positive things. It also obviates the need to find a reliable dice roller for Skype and if I'm correct has a good logging function which is as always eminently useful. Anyway, once my Thursday exam passes, I may experiment with it in the time I'm not studying for the following week's finals. Til our first session, godspeed!
