Persona Lives, like any other play-by-post RPG, is most enjoyable for everyone when players are active. If posts are too slow, threads can go inactive and die, and this ruins the fun for everyone involved. Therefore, active participants in threads are expected to adhere to these guidelines on activity:
Players are expected to post in their threads at least once a week, in recognition of the fact that most people on here have jobs or full-time school. If you will not be able to meet this requirement, tell the other players in your thread so that they can plan for this.
There is no set rule on posting order - just be reasonable. If a player does not reply in a thread for a few days, they may be skipped, and the other players may contact Virulain or monopod to resolve the issue, usually by NPC'ing the inactive character for the thread.
Players who go inactive completely for two weeks will be contacted by email. If there is no reply, the characters will be either retired or killed. Dead characters will not be revived.
We do know that sometimes real life comes up. In that case, just send us a PM or an email and let us know about how long you will be unable to participate. Unless you've been hit by a car and are in the hospital, there's no reason you can't send an email. And, of course, if you ever get bored, just let us know you're dropping the game. No hard feelings.
